GUEST IN RESIDENCE
FW CAMPAIGN LAUNCH
(designed at Socialrise)

  • Guest in Residence was built on a single idea: clothes as heirlooms, not seasonal purchases — pieces designed to be handed down, the way Gigi Hadid's own cashmere sweaters were passed to her by her parents. For FW24, that idea needed a season of its own. "Fall Escape" wasn't just a new drop — it was an attempt to bottle a very specific feeling: the warmth of childhood fall trips, a dad's plaid camping shirt, a mom's sweater on the ski slopes. The challenge was translating a private, deeply personal memory into a full campaign — website, social, mailer, billboard — without flattening it into generic autumn imagery.
  • Strategy

Instead of staging nostalgia, we went looking for it. The campaign was shot in the countryside, swapping studio polish for something closer to a family archive: real horses, real fields, real off-duty moments. We built the story around a visual bridge between past and present — grainy black-and-white frames that feel pulled from an old photo album, paired with warm, saturated color that grounds the same story in the here and now. Two timelines, one feeling.
  • The answer

Across every touchpoint the campaign speaks in that same doubled register. Bold, condensed display type carries the confidence of the headline moments, while typewriter-style monospace captions label each piece like an old inventory tag — quiet, specific, almost archival. The circular "Guest in Residence Knitters" badge nods to vintage patchwork and varsity marks, tying the whole system back to the brand's heirloom language. Product photography stays candid rather than composed: hands, texture, motion, horses mid-stride — moments caught, not posed. The result is a campaign that feels less like a product launch and more like a memory, warm and a little worn at the edges.
